"Original" is the most requested and least delivered quality in office gifts. Most people end up with a voucher because time ran out.
Original does not mean expensive or strange. It means the receiver did not see it coming and can actually use it. That is the filter we apply to everything here.

Original works at any price point. Between 10 and 25 euros the choice is widest.
All the usual amounts per occasion are in the gift etiquette. Chipping in without the hassle? Start a gift moment or use the Split tool.
Surprise plus usefulness. Something the receiver would not have bought themselves but will genuinely use or laugh at.
Only if they solve something or are funny. A gadget that ends up in a drawer is the opposite of original.
Skip vouchers, mugs and generic gift sets. Start from the person: their hobby, their habit, their running joke.
